DOOM the Dark Ages - Terrain

Terrain and material variants created for DOOM the Dark Ages. Optimized for use of a RGBA splat map and greyscale color map that can use gradients to remap the base color, which allows for many material variants without requiring new textures. Lava variant was created using a flow map that aligns to the surface normals in order to simulate lava flowing down the cracks in the terrain.
